    I got the Pioneer A-04 with Sonic MyDVD.
    Convert .AVI to Mpeg2 with TMPgenc.
    When the MPEG file has black screen (during the movie), the Sonic MyDVD only record the file until this point (black Screen). The rest of the movie is not recorded.
    Is there someone who can help how to overcome this issue?

    Yes, use another authoring tool like ulead moviefactory. It is very simple and cheap www.vcdhelp.com/author#dvd

    It means that Pioneer is selling the DVDR with un-apropriated software, or at least the software has bugs...
