I get a
cce encoding failed: AVIStreamRead()failed(0x8004406d): A disk error occurred while reading the file.
If I try a 1 minute 640x480 uncompressed avi, resize(SVCD) and frame serve to cce, encode mpg2, everything works. But when I try anything larger, I get this error.
the video drive is a ntfs, 80 gig raid. Windows 2000
If I try to just encode a 480x480 avi straight from cce, I get the same error.
Also does anybody know how to record a 480x480 avi from ATI MMC 7.1 so I don't have to resize. Or that matter, how to record an mpg2(SVCD) that I can put right in Video Pack 5 and work, or put an avi in VIdeo Pack 5 and work. This VideoPack 5 won't take an uncompressed avi into the project area, says unable to read file
Boy, that's alot of problems I quess.

let me clarify, I can record great mpg2's from MMC, VP5 accepts them, but when you go to record disc image, VP5 does a encode and mux, and that fails. I guess the ? should be what are the exact mpg2 attributes VP5 is looking for in an mpg2 file.

I noticed there were no replies to this post, but I'm getting this message, too! I also have a RAID setup (dual IBM 80GB HDDs).
Anybody have any ideas? Seems as though the RAID is the problem.
