I have tried several times, with two different movies that came in two large .avi files to turn the movie into a dvd with my Pioneer A04. I used VirtualDub to connect the two .avi files into one. Since they are encoded witht he Xvid codec I used the decompress tool from avi2vcd to make a new .avi with sound that I could then extract with virtualdub. I extracted the .wav, then used that .avi and the .wav i extracted from it to created my DVD Mpeg 2. The mpeg plays flawlessly on the computer in any program. I use Ulead DVD to author it, no menus, just the one mpeg, and it plays fine int he preview window. But once the dvd is burned and i go to play it, the sound is way out of sync. Anyone have any suggestions, someone must have run into this little problem before.
Thanks
