    I wanted to put an .mpg movie file onto a cd using vcdeasy. when I asked the program to do this, it 'checked' out the file & said it was mpeg2 & you could only use mpeg1 files to do this.. huh? I'm confused ( again)

    this file is one I downloaded offof a binaries newsgroup ( a tv show) & the info file said it was >Format :PAL standard SVCD & to unrar & burn using vcdeasy.

    what am I doing wrong??

    Answer's in the question VCD uses MPEG1 SVCD uses MPEG2. Try using VCD Easy again and this time choose SVCD as the VideoCD type instead of VCD.
