  1. My XVCD's don't play properly when i turn the compliancy check off in Nero.
When i burned an XVCD, i turned off the compliancy check and burned it. While playing the movie i forwarded it but when i hit play again the audio just diappeared but the video kept on going.
When i burn a VCD with compliacy check on it works perfectly wrong.
I am running it on a Pioneer DV-343.
The file was encoded at 2000kb/s and 224kb/s audio on 352x240 resolution.
    CAN ANYBODY HELP ME. PLEASE

    Is this NERO 5.5+?

If so, choose "Video CD" and leave the "Compliant" box CHECKED (so long as you have the right resolution and MPEG-1, NERO doesn't care what's there for bitrates). As a matter of fact, I'm burning one now, as we speak.

If this doesn't work, it's either 1) Doesn't work in player, 2) Bad Encode, or 3) Bad multiplex. I've had NERO give me errors when a video is badly encoded (CCE), eve when res/size are correct... but not with the specs you gave...

I had this problem. Demultiplex the audio and video then remultiplex them back together (using TMPGEnc.) This new .mpg should be able to play fine and ff/rew without losing sound. Nero isn't the problem, the .mpg is.
