  1. ive created an xvcd and made a simple menu in nero; it worked perfectly... i was going to go one step further and add a little sound to the menu when i figured i might want to try something a little more...

i downloaded the ulead dvd workshop demo and thought maybe id just make the menu and add in my .mpg file, and that all works, but it doesnt have any custom non-standard or no conversion settings... i mean i can convert it to mpeg2 with a very low bitrate at low resolution, but it probably wouldnt fit the cd after and i really dont want to re-encode once again; i already have a working decent looking xvcd...

so, is there any way to include a completely non-standard file (mpeg1 352x200 1100 kbps w/ 112kbps layer 2 audio) in ulead, or maybe a similarly easy to use authoring program that can handle that?

  2. just a little more on this:
my film is 25fps, but since the resolution isnt standard anyways and fps means very little to my dvd player, it really shouldnt make a differance if i use ntsc or pal settings in ulead or any other app, correct?
