  1. Hi all,

Got a strange problem. When i burn a svcd/vcd from a bin/cuesheet in Nero or for that matter in CDRwin - programīs tells me succesfull burn - but dvdplayer (nintaus dvd-n9901) tells me BAD DISC. I use disc at once and have a plexwriter scsi.
If i try to burn the exact same svcd/vcd at work on the same brand of media in the same program using a plexwriter - then my dvdplayer will play them - so now the question is - what could be wrong here?

One difference is that i got win 2k here but got win nt at work.
I got the lastests aspi drivers - and have tried to lower the speed when burning - but still bad disc in dvd player.

Any hint/tips will be apreciated - thanx.

    Cheers
    Senic

From your comments + the dvd player list I would say that you have the unfornate position of finding a random ( media + burner + DVD player ) that just don't seem to work together. I would try a diffrent media type ( make sure it's got a diffrent coloed bottom ) and see if that helps any.

  3. I tried several different medias like mr. platinium, verbatim, kodak.
The thing is - no matter what mediatype i use works fine when i burn them at work - but if i burn them at home (even the same mpg) the dvd player wont play them.
i can for that matter make a cd to cd copy at home of a burned svcd/vcd made at work - that will work.

Sounds like your CD-burner is not outputting a high enough power setting for your media.

Sounds like it's time for a new burner.

  5. So even lower the speed to 1x wouldnīt even help ?
i thought it might had something to do with drivers or aspi...?
