  1. I posted this in the wrong area, had 80 veiws but no replies, SOMEBODY MUST have had a similar problem, PLEASE HELP....

I am using the ATI 7.7 MM to capture with my Radeon 64MB DDR all in one card. Then editing out the comercials and other things using MPEG-VCR v3.11. I then create the SVCD bin/cue using VCDEasy 1.1.2.
Then I burn the image using CDRWIN 4.0A.
When I watch it in my DVD player in my entertainment system the vid freezes every 40 seconds for about 2 seconds and keeps repeating, play 40 freeze 2, play 40 freeze 2, play 40 freeze 2.........etc, etc, etc/....

The video is perfect when playing it prior to creating the bin/cue...
Can anyone explain what I may be doing wrong or is it the burner??
I've tried it a few times.........

wobble kind of wobbles when it comes to compliant mpeg streams ..

all i can suggest is to try another app for editing or demux and re-mux with bbmpeg or tmpgenc .. but i often have bad results from mpeg-vcr (wobble)

  3. Try burning at the slowest possible speed. It fixed it for me.

  4. Yea, could be both CDR problem or bitrate problem. i would try burning the CD at slow speed like 4x or 2x first.

  5. I just tried running the cd from a regular CD player on my PC running XP and did an autorun into Media Player.
the CD dosn't skip at all... Is this due to the buffering?
or could my Yamaha DVD player just suck?
I've never had any issue playing SVCDs in the past on it or with others I have from DVDRips.
