Hey guys, I was wondering if there was any way to get the theater tv-out overlay mode to work properly with any software Video player other than ATi's. When I choose the "Theater" mode under the "Overlay" menu in the Radeon 8500's display properties (you know, to get whatever video is playing on the monitor to show up at full-screen on the secondary display,a TV, no matter what size it is on the primary display) it works great with the Ati software, but if I use anything else, such as Windows Media Player or WinDVD, the size of the video is not correct on the TV. I would especially like to get this working properly with WinDVD, since it is a much better player than the others.
Does anybody know how to fix this, or even whether or not it CAN be fixed?
As always, any response is appreciated.
Thanks

On my Radeon 7500....I never chose that theater thing...I set both the TV and monitor as primary device..under setings ...then everthing worked right.

Yeah, that does work, but I'd like to be able to do work and keep my monitor at full resolution (1280x1024) while a movie is playing. Thanks tho.
