A Friend of mine recently recorded my wedding for me and very kindly give it to me in VCD form so i can play it on my DVD player, it works perfectly good quality as well, I have tried to copy the vcd onto VHS video for my mother and a few other relatives, but it comes out intermittent with black and white fuzz between clips wich are also poor quality. a friend told me i needed a macro decoder to descramble the signal, having purchased one from a computer fair, it dident seem to make any difference whatsoever. Can anyone please tell me what iam doing wrongany help would be very much appreciated!

If it was a home-made VCD of a camcorder video, I seriously doubt that it has macrovision protection. The "macro buster" might come in handy in the future, but not for this. I assume that your VCD and VCR are both the same vid standard (PAL/VHS)?
As Churchill famously predicted when Chamberlain returned from Munich proclaiming peace in his time: "You were given the choice between war and dishonor. You chose dishonor, and you will have war."
