  1. I am new to this but can capture video in AVI format and convert to Mpeg with TMPGenc but when I use Ulead DVD Movie Factory to Author and burn to DVD I get choppy sound.
When I use MYDVD to Author and burn the same AVI file I dont have any problems, but I would prefer to use DVDMovie factory if I could.
    Any ideas.

If you have a sound program, like sound forge, or Gold Wave, try loading the mpeg file into it and see if the sound is on both channels.

If one of the channels is damaged delete the sound from the damaged channel, copy the audio from the undamaged one and mix it to the damaged one, and see if that fixes your problem.

If audio on both channels is choppy, save the audio from the .avi file as a .wav file and use this .wav file as the audio input in TMPGEnc.
