  1. I just spend some money on a new Tv-card so i can capture and then convert to SVCD 480x576 and 25 fps but i seen some clip from other things and i can't make the same quality like that what am i doing wrong ?

    Try capturing video through your PCTV using a resolution of 480x576 and either HUFFYUV or MJPEG. VirtualDub and AVI_IO are both good programs to use.

    After the capturing is complete, edit the video in VirtualDub and then frameserve it to TMPGEnc. If you don't need to edit the video then just open the AVI file into TMPGEnc directly.

    The PCTV Rave will capture up to PAL DVD resolution (720x576) in both VirtualDub and AVI_IO.

    Set the custom frame size under Capture Settings to your desired resolution.

  5. Same here! The DVD resolution is greyed out! I can't select it!
