    Hi guys!
    I've been trying to open the movie The.Others.DVDRip.DivX-ViTE.avi in vdub because I wanna add subtitles and re-ecode it to svcd, but I just get the message "cannot determine file type" when trying to open it.
    I start to wonder if this is because this movie's audio is coded with OGG codec.

    Anyone else who have solved this problem?

    that probably is why vdub won't open the file, but i am presuming that you haven't installed the ogg audio codec the same also goes for if it's AC3 audio.
    dunno why vite use ogg though as it seems to give me nasty problems when encoding to SVCD

    Thanks, I will check it out.
    The funny thing here though, is that I do have the OGG codec installed, since I can watch this movie even in mediaplayer.
