svcd to dvdr will not play in standalone need help

i have a file in svcd format and i used spruceup to author it. i burned the image i made and it only plays in power dvd on my computer and does not play in my dvd player and my dvd player plays everything pansonic rv-31. i also tried to burn as svcd in nero and it played in the dvd player but played like real slow like it was encoding in tmpgenc. it also had a lot of green spots top and bottom of screen. i would like to burn on dvdr. can anyone help me out?[/i]

not sure if this will help but i have sort of had a problem similar to this and the problem was the VIDEO_TS directory was in lower case instead of caps. Maybe have a look at that..

It will not change to caps. keeps going back to lower case when i try to rename it. is there another way to put it in caps?

When i go to burn with nero it says reallocation failed and violation of dvd specification. i have followed every step to the letter and when i go to burn it fails. I still cant change the video_ts to caps either. any other advise?
