I have a RCA RC5910P. It plays MP3's. I have burned two CD's using Easy CD Creator. The 1st, I have directories with MP3 file under each (no files in the root). The RCA would not read the disk. The 2nd, I dumped all MP3 files into the root. The RCA reads and plays all files. The problem is in the menu it truncated all the file names. In the owners manual it shows the file names in full and also says you can have albums and songs under each. Can anyone tell me how to create a MP3 CD that the RCA will read correctly and how to create the albums?

    Thanks AlfCat

  2. i think it has something to do with the method in which you burn. look under the properties an i think you may need iso or mode1, cant really recall(dont have an updated version of ECDCreator handy).
    good luck..

  6. In Nero, i just choose audio cd as the template. Drop the mp3 songs i want into the cd info portion of the screen. and then presss brun. 20 inutes later, new cd. sounds great and is easy. or am i missing something that is confusing in this post?

alfcat is talking about mp3 cd. What u mentioned is making a regular audio CD.

alfcat, most of the DVD player displays only 8 chars.

    Your burning process is OK.

some player won't read the mp3 files in subdirectory.
(If your manual says it can read under each subdir,
    then sue the comapny)
