ok from what i've read it seems that the errors people are having in burning viewable vcds comes from not encoding the mpeg file correctly. i guess the questions that need to be answered are:
1)depending on weither you do pal or ntsc what should be the frame rate?
2)if the frame rate isn't "correct" for the pal/ntsc type will the vcd play?
3)what should be the bit rate for a vcd film? a svcd film?
4)is there a way to full proof test a mpeg file to see if it will burn correctly so as to be viewable?
5)is there anything else thats neccessary that i haven't asked?
thanks a lot
