  1. I'm using Nero 5.5 to try and burn a mpeg (806mb) to SVCD. I checked the mpeg and it's fine, but when I go to burn it, both the simulation and the write sequence tells me that it can't complete as the disc-at-once can't close. Not a problem I've previously encountered.
I'm probably staring this problem straight in the face, but I'd appreciate any tips or help.

  4. try burning as disk at once you get the option right b4 starting the burn you might also try not doing the simultion but keeping your write speed under 8x

  5. I tried to burn twice once with the similation and once without, but both times failed. And I should be so lucky as to have a cd burner that burns at 8x Mine will only burn at 2x but this is the first error that I've encountered with it. It's been able to burn other media before, so I'm stumped as to what the problem might be.

  8. Sounds like a driver conflict, uninstall any burn software(Nero is

  11. Can you use track at once for a mpeg file?
Will it burn all the way through or will I have to check it occasionally?
It's not an option I've used before.

  13. I had same problem with Nero and burning using Disk at Once would hang and not complete burn. Tried Track at Once and burned OK. Resultant CD plays fine on my Dansai 852 DVD player.
