  1. Hi, and sorry for this stupid question. I have a Tiawan manufactored base band video capture card with 4 inputs (RCA) and one which can be looped back out to video out. The card is based on Conexant BT878KHF chip. It was orginally bundled with a package called Remote Witness. The only name I can find on the card is FOCE PN#814003. Anyway, I'm trying to use it in WIN98 with WebCam32 (Surveyor Corp) and can not find the drivers that would allow this work. Does anyone have any suggestions.....thanks in advance...

go to fcc.gov and look up the mfger there.
    Good luck.

Other drivers may work. I have tried a few with mine. They usually work here.

  4. Thank you for the suggestions. The card doesn't have a Tuner on it, just a capture chip. I've been unable to find any FCC id. On the manual and CD, I've went back and rechecked everything, and looked at every file. The only reference I can find is that the chip is a Brooktree 878. There isn't any documentation on the card because I believe the focus of the offering that the card was bundled with was a base band based surveillance system. The manual looks great for those functions {software} and I've actually very impressed with the software for that. However, I'm just trying to use the card and not the surveillance software. This is the only video card I could find that had multiple inputs, which is how I got into this situation.

    Thank you for responding.....

  5. I read a post from someone a couple weeks back about generic Brooktree drivers. You may want to search the list and see if you can locate those drivers since they may work for you.
