  1. Greetings:

I have taken a short video clip of a 1983 Mecedes in Rare/Mint condition and wish to show it to other people over the internet. Is this possible? If so, what do I neet to do? I already make the video clip in mpeg format using tmpeng applet; however, it is still too big (11MB approx.) to be able to u/l to a web hosting server. Any idea and suggestion is greatly appreciated.

compress it in either mpeg1 format or mpeg4 varitations (Qt or mpeg4)

personally i would opt for Quicktime ... but mpeg1 is alright also . decrease frame size also ... keep bit rate low ...

You need web space to publish digital files

    Have you got webspace?

    Or your own server?

    please reply

  5. Thank you all for your help.

roosh2: No I don't try to sell the car over the forum but elsewhere in a car forum. I just did this for fun since it is not my car but my brother car. Anyway, I do have a web-space given from comcast provider but I don't know how to use it yet. One of my relative do have his own server (just start learning) but he doesn't know how to publish a video clip either. If it doesn't take too much of your time, could you please give me some outline that can guide both of us in the right direction?

BJ_M: what do you recommend for frame size and bit rate in my case? I already have my video clip in mpeg1 format I believe but it is still too big though.

Advance thanks for any kind of help.
