  1. Hello, this is my first time to use VirtualDub 1.4.10 and follow the guide and helps from vcdhelp.com, i decided to try and convert a vcd file into wav to extract the audio.

However, my vcd file is a karaoke, which it has the left channel for instrument (no singing so u can use your voice and sing), and the right channel with the artist's voice (ie. just like a normal song you would hear on cd, both with voice and music).

When i extract WAV file (using File -> Save WAV), the audio file (WAV) play with left channel as instruments, and right channel with the artist's voice. I just want to rip and play like a normal song (ie. extract from right channel only) so i can burn to cd and listen as a normal cd track.

Can anyone please show me the way to do that using VirtualDub or any other software would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you

Load the AVI (Extracts the audio) into www.goldwave.com you will see both left and right channels. Delete the channel you don't want and copy and paste the other channel into the one you deleted.
