After authoring a movie with VCDEasy and some of the other authoring programs, when I insert the movie into my APEX 5131 it never plays, it just sits there displaying the total time of the movie for that disc. I tried both to author the disc as compliant using the MPEG2 standard and non-compliant using the old MPEGAV folder and neither works. The movie plays well in my pc. Has anyone seen this problem before. Your help will be greatly appreciated.

I have the 5131 and I can unequivocally say that it does, in fact play svcds....in fact, it plays 3 in a row, which I find wonderful

I will chuckle a little with everyone, however yes I did press play. Do you have to make the SVCD non-compliant to make it work, and which authorizing software do you use
