  1. As i successfully made with VCD, I created a custom profile in AIW MMC 7.6 with SVCD attributes but a bitrate of 6 Mbit/s.
I also tweaked it with Stinky tool.
It produces a quite good MP2 file that i would like to compress to SVCD specs with TMPGenc.
TMPGenc refuses to open these files ("can not open or unsupported").
I tried to change the name to .mpg. Nothing.
I tried to multiplex them in a new file.
It works, the files are opened by TMPGenc, i can see the content in the Merge&Cut window but the resulting files show the same problem.
It seems to me that has been some discussion about this (that's why i tried to multiplex) but i don't remember exactly.
    Any help would be appreciated.

Open it with dvd2avi. Maybe you have to rename it to mpg.
Make a d2v project ('save project') and load it into tmpeg.
Be sure you have tmpegs vfapi plugin in tmpeg directory.
