authoring multiple mpg file onto a dvd-r

I was wondering what the best authoring program is. A lot of them have limitations, such as the audio must be this or that to load it. Which authoring program is flexable and doesnt add many limitations?

Also,
I am having troubles adding multiple mpg files to a dvd-r. I keep running into problems...right now my problem is..when loading the file into Spurce Up i get a Illegal Mpeg audio error. I have no clue whats causing this...all my other mpg files loaded fine except this one. Message back if you can help out.

What kind of settings did you use for the audio in the MPEG file?
Spruce isn't real picky, look in the help section to see what specifications it accepts, could be the audio doesn't comply somehow. hope this helps

Thanks for the help but i believe i already figured it out. Its an odd situation...just this one mpeg file out of 24 i have i had to convert the audio to .ac3 because Spruce Up wouldnt accept the current audio. It was strange...i am gonna burn them to a dvd-r tonight, hopefully it works.
