  1. I got a SVCD movie in a BIN/CUE format but cannot play it with PowerDVD or WinDVD (a disc with an unsupported format in drive f: ). I managed to extract the MPEG2 file with VCDGear which now plays in Windows Media Player but the two audio streams play at the same time. I think I have to burn it as a SVCD so that I can toggle between the first or the second audio stream. I am not sure which burning program will be successful in burning a dual-audio stream SVCD properly. I tried with Nero but ended up with a single audio stream SVCD. Can anyone help me out ?
    Thanks.

Are you sure its a Dual Audio SVCD, use Daemons tools to create an imaginary CD-Rom and load the Bin file into that and then test it using WinDVD, not PowerDVD, Power DVD doesn't support SVCD or Dual Audio Tracks, WinDVD does.

Daemons tools is a great program which has saved me money in wasted discs alone.

  3. The movie is a dual audio stream SVCD. I have other movies which work fine in Power DVD (which supports choosing between audio stream 1 and 2) but this one gives me an error both in Power DVD and Win DVD. Of course I tried it first mounted by Daemon Tools before I burnt a CD and it didn't work. Seems like the format of the SVCD is wrong so it would need to be properly burnt again. As I said I have managed to extract the MPEG2 file from the BIN/CUE with the two audio streams in it. Now I only have to find a tool that will let me burn this file properly, as a dual audio stream SVCD.

Have you tried demultiplexing the mpeg to one video stream and two audio streams, use Tmpeg to do this check this and check the video plays ok on its own, then both audio soundtracks and then remultiplexing them all together using BBmpeg, then use VCD Easy to create a new image file, if you split them up and look at each stream closely and theres no problems then there should be no problem creating another image file.

What version of Power DVD are you using as mine is version 4 and the latest i think and only recognises SVCD as video VCD and the audio stream box is greyed out.

  5. I'm not exactly sure what you're suggesting. I don't want to create two MPEG2 files, one with English and the other with German soundtrack. I just want to properly burn the one dual-audio stream MPEG2 file.

I'm using Power DVD XP 4.0. If you got a valid dual-audio stream SVCD then you should be able to toggle between each of them.

I'm still no closer to the solution of my problem though. ;-/

Same Power DVD as me, maybe, i need to uninstall and reinstall.

I mean use Tmpeg to seperate the audio from the video, and check that the Video plays ok, then check both of the audio streams play ok, then multiplex with BBmpeg, adding the video and both audio streams.

If the mpg plays ok in Power DVD, then just use VCD Easy to make an image file of it, then check the image file with Daemon tools, do you have VCD Easy?
