i've been trying to encode my dv camcoder avi files using TMPGEnc, but when i try to import them into DVDit 2.5 PE, the program either crashes, or says it doesn't have a decoder for the file. Does DVDit have a file limit? (i'm on ntfs so have captured bigger than 4gb). the settings i'm using on TMPGEnc are 6k or 7k bitrate, VBR (2-pass). tried both interlace, and non-interlace. are there any other settings i have to change?

what kind of audio stream are you using? dvdit messed me up when I had 44.1 audio and would crash on me
Remember when the only way to see a movie uncut was to go to the theatre? -
the audio is set at 48000 hz, stereo in TMPGEnc. the rate is 'greyed out', so i can't change it, although the 'stream type' says MPeg 1 audio layer II
