    I have been looking fore info on cutting a 2 gig cvd down to 800 mb parts, I have tried Tmpg, and no luck so far. Thanks in Advance for any help.

    Your best bet is to demultiplex the video so you have a mp2 and m2v file. Take those files and use BBmpeg to remultipliex them using the SVCD settings. In BBmpeg you can specify a file size. Choose 790 mb if you wish to have roughly 800 mb files. It will automatically cut the video into appropriate pieces and will give you compliant, ready to burn files.

    Search for a proggy called mpeg2vcr
    It is a good cutter
    Always demux/remux as SVCD the cutted file, 'cause this proggy adds padding, so make the files huge. A 50MB file could easily turned 500MB for example (!). Demux/remux solve this problem.
