  1. This is a really nifty, feature laden pice of software. It works great and even converts divx on the fly to pretty good quality SVCDs. My only gripe about it is that I can't seem to find an option to keep original aspect ratio. If the source DivX is anamorphic widescreen, then UDWS just pans and scans it. I'd like to burn it as a letterbox. Anybody know how to do this? Thanks.

  2. DVD Workshop won't record in 16:9 Widescreen format as of yet. So as far as I know there is no way to author a DVD in Widescreen format in DVD Workshop.

    Sorry

I'm not for sure about this, but probably if you record your authored program to the hard drive, you can edit the IFO's to display at 16:9 using IFOedit.
