I was wondering if anyone could recommend a good Professional DVD recorder. One that would enable me to make a better comaptible DVD than I can currently produce using my Pioneer A104 Recordable drive.
I would like to burn either on DVD Ram or DVD Rom disks for better compatability across all platforms.
I was loking at the Fostex DV40 DVD Master Recorder or equal to that.
Thanks,
Michael (Dezine)

I don't know what you mean by "professional" but the Pioneer 201 DVD-R recorder will allow you to use 3.95gig DVD-R blanks that are compatable with EVERY DVD player out there today, even the older ones.
The professional price is about $4200.I don't have a bad attitude...

Reguardless of which drive you get, if you're going to be burning Gereral DVD blanks, you're most likely going to be experiencing the same problems as everyone else here.
The 3.95gig "Authoring" discs have the least playback problems.
Of course, the hardware and blank discs are significantly more expensive.
But you did say "professional".I don't have a bad attitude...
