I've been following the directions given in the DVD-VCD guide. For the first several attempts, I've made DVD-VCDs using SpruceUp. The DVD-Rs would work in my Apex AD-1500 DVD player, but they wouldn't work in a Pioneer DV-434. To make it work for the Pioneer DV-434, I had to compile the DVD-VCD with Impression DVD Pro. Why would the Impression Pro DVD-R work and not SpruceUp? Both the video and the audio files conform to the DVD spec. So, the SpruceUp DVD-R should work in the Pioneer DV-434 player unless SpruceUp does something differently than Impression DVD Pro. Would there be a problem with the way SpruceUp burns a DVD-R?
