file only plays only sound!!!! is vid though??

I got a dvd rip of gladiator which i was going to burn. When i try to play it, i get no error messages, but instead only plays audio. I checked specifics into the file, and it is a video file, and even has info about the video portion when checked in windows media player. 29 FPS, 640x272 picture. So what's going on???? Does anybody have a clue. I'm trying to get it ready for authoring, but cannot do so without the picture obviously..

In the file properties, you don't say what the codec is, this lead me to think its not showing as you don't have the codec installed.

Download and install the Nimo codec pack, this fixes most problems.
