recycling errors??

hi im new to encoding.I use tmpgenc.i have burned maby 20 or so movies,{vdc's}and it worked fine.i didnt do any for about a week or so and now whenever i try to encode to vcd ,svcd i get recycling errors.sometimes its so bad it will crash tmpc.
would anyone know the cause or a possible fix?
the way it is now i cant encode any movies at all,and that sucks
during the last 3 days tring to encode strait i got 1/3 of a movie done

i solved my problem incase anyone has it in the future.... bad sector in ide lol
