    Hi!
When I convert my DivX movies to scvd using TMPGEnc everything works fine untill Ive burned them and but the disc in my dvd. Then somethings fukks up, The size of the letterbox doubles and the picture gets squised.

I have no idea how to fix it so please help me. I followed the guide "How to convert to SVCD with TMPGEnc" in the convert section then I burned using Nero 5.5.9.9

I recommend using an avs script producer like Fit CD, and open that in Tmpeg instead of just opening the avi directly.

If you dont know what i mean, get back to me and i'l explain in more detail.

Make sure under the Advanced Tab, that you set the source aspect ratio to 1:1 (VGA) as DivX is always 1:1 (VGA) for the source aspect ratio. Also, under the Video Tab, set the aspect ratio to 4:3 or 16:9 depending on what type of T.V you have.

    Hope That Helps!!! :P

  9. you know, i also have this problem, but only for some movies. Some are ok, some are really squashed, but still watchable. I heard you can use FITCD to set the aspect ratio, but dunno how to do it tho.......any ideas.....

usually i just do trial and error with the aspect ratio 4:3/16:9 until i get one that is accetable
