  1. Hi,

I have some diffiulties to backup my DVD movie disc. The followings are what I have:

    Windows XP Home Edition
    HP RecordNOW v3.5
    Pioneer DVD-ROM 116
    HP DVD Writer 100i

When I ran RecordNOW program and insert my DVD movie disc in Pioneer DVD-116, I got an error message: unable to read this kind of disc format. But I playback my DVD movie in my Pioneer 116. Is there any way to resolve this problem?

    Thanks.

  2. Hi,
there can be a few reasons for that:
The HP is dvd+rw format, not all players read dvd+rw.
Did you authored it yourself, or is it a copy ?
If you authored it yourself, be aware that de audio HAS TO BE 48khz and NOT 44.1 khz
Some programs don't check on that, but i always got a "Cannot read disk format" -error. These days i use Spruce-up, because it is very strickt on these matters.

    Regards
