  1. im trying to split a 1.3 gig mpeg video into two files with tmpgenc. when i use the merge and cut option under mpeg tools i select the begining of the movie as the start frame and i select a point approximatly 1 hour into the movie as the end point( its actually 01:00:15). i saved the file as a different name and picked run. tmpgenc does the cut but it only makes a file that is 51 megs and about 5 min long. i cant get it to do any more that that.
what tmpgenc says when i hit run

    outputting window
producing video stream 310.31 seconds (where it stops)
producing audio stream 310.33 seconds (where it stops)
    multiplexing

then the file it gives me is about 51 megs
    what am i doing wrong

TMPGEnc usually completes this task with no problems, provided the mpeg file has no problems. If there are junk frames in the mpeg file, this will cause TMPGEnc to stop encoding when it reaches those bad spots.
