I am getting a new hard drive soon. Does anyone have Windows 2000 in the computer? Any problems on 4GB limit?

Is NTFS available in Windows 2000, just like Windows XP?

I have a compatibility problem with WinXP on my printer and it is very annoying. I have to use another computer to print a document.

Is Windows 2000 better for my printer? It is a "Canon" laser printer. It works with Win95, Win98 and WinME, but not on WinXP.

  4. Your printer may or may not work. Winxp's driver architecture is similar to win2000. Thats why they were telling people to use win2000 drivers over 9x drivers for when people were first converting to Winxp.

My computer is six months old and this isn't an upgrade to WinXP. The printer won't work at all and I have the driver, which is for windows 2000. The driver only works partially on WinXP. It is the Canon printing program and this the one which is incompatible with WinXP. I can't install it.

Is Windows 2000 better for my printer? Does anyone know of compatibility in Win2000?
