Hello,
I live in Europe. I recently send some vcds I made to the US. They dont seem to be able to make a copy of them there. Last time I copied one myself I noticed the message $ copyright protected in the burning log. Ive never heard of a copyright protection on vcds. Is there a way to avoid this protection (maybe to send them in mpeg instead of dat?).
I use Pinnacle dc 10 for capturing and Nero for burning.
Thank you very much in advance.

The discs are not copyright protected, just copyrighted. Almost every disc I copy displays as being copyrighted, this however offers no protection from copying.

I make VCD's and by brother uses Nero to make himself copies sometimes, and it also says that the VCD is copyrighted, even though I don't copyright them. Nero just assumes that they are copyrighted. The VCD's burn over just fine. Just don't worry about it.
