ok has anyone BURNED a VCD with nero 5.5.8.2, with STI digital media cd-r's, and encoded the files with TmpgEnc, and have them play good on a GE1106P standalone dvd player?

cuz damn seems that no matter wha i dot... all my results r the same... the disc has some errors while playing, freezing, blockiness, all that stuff

ok ive checked walmart for thier dvd players....ive seen the apex and have read alot of good things about them, but there is talk about the 1mg or 5 mg or something versions? how do u know how to look for the right one for the hacks etc?

try better cd-rs they are likely your problem

nah i dont think its that..... these r the ones ive read WORK on this player, and according to reports, work fine.....

also i did a disc with 2 pass VBR and it will "play" on my player, but it wont show anything and no sound.. and the menu says "video disc 1.1" and on the others(with the CBR) i have done it says 2.0 yet i get all those errors when i play then. so what the hell....???

maybe im doing something wrong with tmpg?

a vcd is 1150 bitrate cbr. nothing else.
