  1. The other day I burned a VCD using an older version of Nero and it played fine on my JVC XV-S60BK. Today I upgraded Nero to the newest version and tried to burn a new DVD and it didn't work. My DVD player just interpreted the disc as being an MP3 disc instead of a VCD. I've tried everything (including burning the exact same files that I used previously on the VCD that works) and nothing seems to be working. To add to the weirdness, the VCDs I'm burning with the new version of Nero will work on my friend's Toshiba DVD player. Is there something different about the VCD standard that the newest version of Nero uses that is making my VCDs unreadable on my JVC XV-S60BK?

  2. Check in the Misc tab in 5.5.8.2 - UNCHECK the box marked "Cache Disk and Network Files" - it trashes the disks for some reason.
Panasonic DMR-ES45VS, keep those discs a burnin'

  3. i can't find that dialog. i'm using Nero 5.5.8.2 but i'm stuck in this damn "Nero Express" mode that is completely different than the version I upgraded from.I'm assuming this is a wizard of some sort, but there's no way i can see to go back to the old mode.
