    I've used Nero for awhile but now it's not working. Won't even burn a data CD.

    I've tried reinstalling, several versions, but no luck. I'm thinking even when I uninstall, something gets left behind.

    Anyone know how to COMPLETELY get rid of this prog so I can reinstall? Any other ideas?

    I'm running XP by the way.

    If you are running XP have you upgraded to the latest version. The earlier versions of nero don't support XP.

    There is a problem with nero 5.5.8.2 (latest) - make sure on the Misc tab the "Cache Files from Disk and Network" box is unchecked.
