When I bring in my video file of 4.2GB, and my audio file of 198 Megabytes, DVDit says the files are too large for my 4.7GB DVD-R disc. When I view the properties of the two files, it says that the video file is 4.2GB, but it says that the Audio file is 1.3GB, when it's really only 198 MB. Has anyone every seen this, and what have you done to correct this error so that DVDit will burn this to a DVD-R?

If you have a version of DVDit that is NOT the PE version, then DVDit is converting the audio file from MP2 to WAV. As such, you can imagine how huge that file will be.
If you don't have DVDit PE, I would suggest converting the audio file to WAV (48K, 16bit stereo) and you can see how big it is then. Add the two files together and that is why it is too big for the disc.

I suggest you to try spruceup. Spruceup doesn't recompress your audio. I'm sure I don't have to remind you to change your audio extension from ".ac3" to ".mpa", and if you want, you can always mux it inside TMPgenc's tools.
There's a ling to spruce's demo version in this site.In this industry, Sadly, The future was yesterday.
