    The newest version (upgrade) of Nero (just released) has fixed the problem of FF with SVCDs. At least for me it did. FF and FR work just fine now!

    What the Hell did you do..I have been trying to get FAST FORWARD to work for a long long time..did u check any boxes or use any menus..please let me know if you can.

    wold you by any chance happen to have a phillips dvd player. these are extremely picky because u need mpeg GOP sequence interval headers in addition to scandata.dat - and even then svcd's might not ff or rr.

    I just upgraded from 5.5.8 to 5.5.8.2 and it now has "scandata.dat in the ext directory all on it's own (I don't have to put it there)...and its works like a charm FF and FR. I have a Apex AD1500.
