  1. Hi,
I own a Sony DAV-s500 standalone player... I want to burn my own movies to DVD so i can play them back with my standalone.

I copied a real DVD to DVD-R... this works perfectly !!
Now i have some mpegs.. used Tmpg to create them.. they have the right properties for PAL..
I used DVD-it... ULEAD... but when i burn it to DVD-R my standalone player says: "Cannot read this disk"

    What is wrong here... ?????

  3. Sorry, I am confused, DVDit is made by Sonic isnt it!

Anyway, let DVDit burn the disc directly, this will ensure full DVD compliance. If it still won't play it could be a media problem

  4. Hi,
Thanx for your replies guys, but it was not the media, because i already covered that.. (all dvd-copies are working)

    My standalone player supports digital..

I used sonic/dvdit to burn... did not work...

Maybe it HAS something to do with the sound... i'll look into this..
what is the best setting for audio ?

The burning function of DVDit is buggy. I would suggest you use the BURN TO FOLDER option, then use a third party program to burn the AUDIO_TS, VIDEO_TS folders to the root of the DVD. It should work then.

  7. Well,
I finally managed to burn it.. with spruce-up
I think it had to do with the audio.

Now i finally have a program that works... is it not sold anymore...
i have trial version 1.1 (1161) and cannot activate it at their website anymore...
    Anybody any ideas ??
I really like this program !!
