I have recently gotten into all of this stuff, lol, I sound technical with the use of the word stuff by anyway, my DVD player (Oritron 100) I know cheap but until now it has played my VCD's (only Simpsons episodes), but as soon as I get my cable modem I am going to start burning real movies, in SVCD format, problem is I encoded one of the episodes to SCVD format just as a test, and put it in drive, it reads and loads, but the picture flickers like a cable channel that you don't have. I know other people that have this Oritron say that SVCD's work just fine for them, and i am using the right media (Memorex CD-RW-only kind that works with this model) anyone have any suggestions on what to change, I didnt really mess with anything in TMPG other than put it in NTSC, nor did I in Nero.
