Can't erase CDRW after burning SVCD

Has anyone had problems erasing a CDRW after burning a SVCD movie to it? It is like it dosen't reconize there is a cd or CDR disk in the drive. I upgraded to the latest version of Nero and still happens from time to time, I use 80min CDs Memorex 4x.

Try starting up Nero, then put in the CDRW, then do erase. If quick erase fails, do a full erase.

Reinstall Nero (or maybe your whole system) if you must.

Unless your CDRW disc shows visible damage or unless you've used it several hundreds of times, I doubt it is a problem with the disc itself.
