a truly fab site. been reading lots of great ideas and solutions...
but i need to loop a 25min film on a dvd for a gallery presentation.
i hear some dvd players loop footage when given a "start" and "end" marker, but i have no guarantee that the gallery will have that kind of dvd, or that the staff will be willing to do this on a daily basis for 5 weeks.
think i'm using idvd, (possibly idvd studio pro), but wondering if there was a drag and drop behavior or code that could go in to make the dvd automatically loop. i know zip about dvd writing, but am learning fast.
will be capturing the footage from dv tape, and presume that mpeg2 is the readable format for dvd players. also presume the codec is not an issue for coding the "loop".
cheers pippa
p.s. sorry about putting stuff in the wrong forum - i'm a newbie...
