    Hello,
Recently I have downloaded a rather 'old' movie, "oo7 For Your Eyes Only" (1981).
Video is OK, but audio is not OK.
Background music sounds good, but speech in most of the places is very low.
Is there some 'magic' (program ?) way to amplify only the speech, or the hard way:
To load the video into a video editor program, play it slowly, mark the low speech places
and add some audio filter to boost it.
    Answers will be appreciated.
    Thanks

  2. Try clever Ffmpeg-GUI.
In the audio encoding section use the dynaudnorm filter.
    Set m to 6.

    Hello,
    Thanks for the answer.
Two days ago I downloaded the "Clever FFMpeg GUI" program, and used it as described in your answer, on the audio stream - it worked.
    Now I have another question:
I downloaded some chapters of "FBI International Season 4" for home viewing. They are a little dark.
Can I use the same program to make them a little brighter, if yes, then how.
    Answers will be appreciated.
    Thanks

I don't understand what you mean.
Chapters don't have a color, they are timestamps to jump to a certain point.
    Do you mean subtitles?
Can you post a picture here?

  5. instead of 'chapters', he probably means 'episodes' (lost in translation )

    Hello,
    Thanks.
Sorry, my mistake. I should say 'Episodes', not Chapters.
Attached 3 screenshots, taken randomly from one playing episode. Just to show places I wish to make it a little brighter.
    Answers will be appreciated.
    Thanks

  7. You probably could adjust the gamma or brightness,...
I suspect ProWos tool does offer some way to use https://ffmpeg.org/ffmpeg-all.html#eq

  8. With clever FFmpeg-GUI:
Main page, video encoding, various, properties:
Here you can change brightness, contrast and gamma values (to see the results, use the preview button).

    But...
The brightness of your samples seems to be ok for me.
