Has there been any way to extract timecode from HDV camera files (m2ts) e.g. to SRT format?
Is there still only DVMP Pro, which probably has this option?

Maybe that soft can do that.
But when it was a topic, I used Sony Vegas and working with these scripts.
Both needed to be loaded to Vegas, as scripts.
Video was captured with HDVSplit into scenes.
Then in Vegas "Regions" were created by scenes running first script.
Then second script was ran to create subtitles from those regions using timecodes.
