I hate to do this, but I've been struggling with TMPGENC 7 for the last few months and just can not figure out how to get it to work the way I want it to.
My situation is this: 1 video file with 2 audio tracks and 2 subtitle streams. I have all of this loaded in but I can not for the life of me figure out how to get this represented on a menu.
All I want is a background image (that's the fun part!) and 1 text link that says something like "DUBBED" and another that says "SUBTITLED". The dubbed will link to the video file and play it with audio track 1 and subtitles track 1 (translated on screen text). SUBTITLED will lead it to the same video file, but with audio track 2 and subtitle 2.
No matter how many times I select "Create Unique Page for Audio and Subtitles Selections" on the menu wizard... no such thing happens.
Is there any kind person who would be willing to explain this to me, or if it's easier (and I think it might be), just create an extremely simple template saved file that I can modify?
I realize this is asking a lot.

Usually you switch audio and subs with the remote control, never seen a menu to choose.
I think,therefore i am a hamster. -

I meant a menu for sound and subs,i've seen lots of menus but none for what you want.

It absolutely can create a separate menu with your audio and subtitle options. I have had this done many times before-- HOWEVER that type of menu just shows both your audio tracks as well as both subtitles.
In your case you are looking to create a playlist with specific items being selected from the menu. The answer is no. The program is (more or less) basic. You cannot create a custom playlist for audio and sub selections with it.
Its either just using their menu to allow the user to select the options themselves or not at all
--but depending on the size of your project (and if you email tmpg this is what they will suggest)- duplicate your video file--one has what you would for the dubbed (only audio and subs #1) and the second (duplicate clip) only has audio 2 and subs 2. Sort of a trick to get it to do what you want but a total waste of space and time
You could email them your problem and offer it as a suggestion (custom playlist for audio and subs) for them to pass onto their development team-- they actually do listen and try to help or potentially will add it in another version down the road if you are lucky
