Are there any Blu-Ray players of those that are currently being sold that can open and play 1080p MKV / MP4 files greater than 4 GB off a burned BD-R data disc, without any major difficulties like jerkiness etc?
There was an old thread about this topic in 2013 and apparently there were several players that did this, some of them with certain conditions such as the file had to be a certain resolution while some seemed to play back pretty much any resolution, and some had limitation of not being able to handle files larger than 4 GB.
I figured things may have changed since then so I created this new thread.
