Hey,
Is there a way to add shadows to PGS subtitles? I know it would be simpler to just use OCR to convert them to SRT and then configure settings accordingly, but OCR introduces so many errors that it would be unfeasible for me to manually correct them all.
The problem is that one of my closest friends has vision problems that make it difficult for him to see PGS subtitles because they're just white text and that's it — he's used to white text on a translucent black background, y'know? — and I figure that it since it's easy to add a translucent black background to normal PNG/JPG/HEIC/TIFF images, it should be possible to do the same to pictographic subtitles such as PGS (and VOBSUB). But I'm not sure how to edit them like pictures, let alone how to do so in bulk.
My primary computer is a Mac, but I do have access to a PC that I can use if necessary.

Have you tried converting PGS subtitles to srt?
You can use SubtitleEdit for PC but perhaps there is an Apple App for Mac.
